Our weekend kitchen and taproom in the Lannock Barn - smoked meats, charred veg, barrel-fermented beers, and a special menu every weekend.

Our Story

Smoke and Barrel, our new open-fire weekend kitchen and taproom, has officially opened at Lannock Barn. Building on last year's hugely popular asado and smokery, this is the next chapter in our soil-to-plate story - a self-serve communal space where good food, good company, and the smell of woodsmoke all come together around the fire.

Now every Friday - Sunday

The kitchen opens every Friday - Sunday, serving breakfast and lunch. We have a no reservations policy (except for special events which may be ticketed) and food is ordered via our App. Expect long tables and communal dining. Our team are always on hand to help guide you through the process.

On the menu we have elevated breakfast sandwiches, smoked meats cooked low and slow on our custom-built Ironbrand smoker, charred veg, pulses and salads from the garden.

The menu changes week to week, shaped by what's coming off the farm and from a tight circle of regeneratively minded producers.

Opening times:

Friday - Lunch 11:30am-3pm, Dinner 6pm-8:30pm.

Saturday & Sunday - Breakfast 8–11am, Lunch 12–4pm, Bar 11am–7pm. Visit our events page for additional events throughout the year.

The Crossover Blendery Taproom

The taproom is run by George and Charlie from Crossover Blendery, who are pouring their barrel-fermented beers alongside a curated line-up of guest ales, English wines and farmhouse spirits.

How It Works

Order food via the QR codes in the barn. Drinks at the bar. Pay as you go - no booking needed for walk-ins, though tables fill quickly on sunny weekends.

Through the week the space hosts private hire, workshops and events; see What's On for the latest.
